Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated HGV Class 2 HIAB driver to join our team at Briants of Risborough. This pivotal role involves the reliable and safe delivery of products using a HIAB lorry, ensuring our customers receive an exceptional level of service that represents our company's values.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a HIAB lorry, ensuring safety and efficiency during all deliveries.
• Load and unload materials in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain and keep delivery records and documentation accurately.
• Adhere to all driving regulations and road traffic laws for LGV vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any queries proficiently.
• Ensure the delivery schedules are met in accordance with the company expectations.
• Support in maintaining the vehicle’s cleanliness and general upkeep.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid HGV Class 2 license and experienced in operating HIAB vehicles - essential.
• Digital tachograph card and up-to-date CPC qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas.
• Effective communication skills and professional demeanour.
• Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service.

Working Hours

This role offers a full-time schedule, 44.5 hours across Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday working 08.00 - 12.00. 

Flexibility is essential for meeting delivery demands.
