HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver Opportunity – Edmonton
Branch Location: 401 Montagu Rd, London, N9 0HP.
Working Hours =
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:00, with alternate Saturdays from 08:00 to 12:00, totalling 44.5 hours per week.

- Salary range from £37,000 to £40,000 based on experience

Main Responsibilities – HIAB Class 2 Driver Jobs
- Ensure safe, secure, and timely delivery of building materials to customer sites in compliance with road safety laws
- Expertly operate and maintain the Hiab crane, following all safety and operating procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service on every project, promoting Lawsons’ values
- Build strong customer relationships during each delivery, serving as an ambassador for the company
- Identify and assist with potential sales opportunities while on delivery routes
- Take responsibility for safeguarding products and company vehicles, promptly reporting any loss or damage
- Follow company health and safety policies, including the correct reporting of any incidents or issues
Key Skills and Experience for HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver Jobs
- Valid HGV Class 2 and Hiab license (essential)
- Substantial experience driving HGV vehicles—ideally within the builders’ merchants industry (essential)
- Friendly demeanour and a proactive approach to all customer interactions
- Strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail
- Adaptability to work in fast-paced environments and a self-motivated attitude
- Exceptional time management to efficiently complete all daily tasks
- A commitment to learning additional product knowledge and company processes
