HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver Opportunity – Edmonton

Branch Location: 401 Montagu Rd, London, N9 0HP.

Working Hours =

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:00, with alternate Saturdays from 08:00 to 12:00, totalling 44.5 hours per week.

Main Responsibilities – HIAB Class 2 Driver Jobs

• Ensure safe, secure, and timely delivery of building materials to customer sites in compliance with road safety laws
• Expertly operate and maintain the Hiab crane, following all safety and operating procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service on every project, promoting Lawsons’ values
• Build strong customer relationships during each delivery, serving as an ambassador for the company
• Identify and assist with potential sales opportunities while on delivery routes
• Take responsibility for safeguarding products and company vehicles, promptly reporting any loss or damage
• Follow company health and safety policies, including the correct reporting of any incidents or issues

Key Skills and Experience for HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver Jobs

• Valid HGV Class 2 and Hiab license (essential)
• Substantial experience driving HGV vehicles—ideally within the builders’ merchants industry (essential)
• Friendly demeanour and a proactive approach to all customer interactions
• Strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail
• Adaptability to work in fast-paced environments and a self-motivated attitude
• Exceptional time management to efficiently complete all daily tasks
