Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting customers with product collections and loading purchases safely
Receiving, moving and organising stock around the yard
Keeping the yard and product displays tidy, accessible and well presented
Assisting with stock checks and reporting shortages, damage or discrepancies
Working with colleagues to prepare orders and coordinate customer collections
Handling customer queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
Following company procedures for health and safety, manual handling and customer service
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is approachable, reliable and comfortable balancing customer service with practical outdoor work. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team and take care to work safely and accurately.
You’ll need:
Experience in sales, customer service, a yard or warehouse, or a similar practical role
Experience in a builders’ merchant, garden centre, landscaping or construction environment is essential
An interest in landscaping products and the confidence to learn about the range
Good communication skills and a friendly, professional approach to customers
Good numeracy and attention to detail when processing orders and payments
The ability to work outdoors and carry out hands-on duties, including moving and handling products safely
A positive, flexible approach and the ability to manage changing priorities
The ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
A strong commitment to health and safety
Forklift experience or a current forklift licence would be an advantage
